On November 1, 2022, the final New Hampshire Value of Distributed Energy Resources Study was released. The study was directed per Order 26,029 by the New Hampshire Public Utilities Commission. The goal of the study was to assess the value of behind-the-meter distributed energy resources (DERs) that are owned by customer-generators and are eligible to participate in net metering programs including solar, solar paired with battery storage, and small hydro. The study also provided data and analysis to help in designing future net metering rates and tariffs. The full study can be accessed here.
