UCLA Releases Report on “Making Justice40 a Reality for Frontline Communities”

The University of California Los Angeles’s Luskin Center has released a new report, Making Justice40 a Reality for Frontline Communities, assessing state approaches toward climate and clean energy investments in frontline communities. Authored by scholars and advised by leaders of environmental and climate justice movements, the report highlights foundational principles for states’ consideration, including community engagement and consultation, local capacity-building investments, partnerships with local governments and community-based organizations, and transparency and accountability in agency reporting.
