NASEO’s Financing Committee will host a session to discuss opportunities for State and Territory Energy Offices to leverage Loan Programs Office (LPO) capital. LPO has made a significant amount of capital available under Title 17 and other programs, which offers opportunities for State Energy Offices to engage to leverage this capital to underwrite energy projects in their state. Speakers will discuss how their Offices are working with LPO to unlock this capital for energy projects in their states and will also highlight further areas for cooperation as well as potential challenges for Energy Offices to consider throughout this process. The Committee will then engage in a discussion on next steps for this issue.
