NASEO’s 2026 State Energy Leadership Institute is a four-day intensive opportunity designed to better inform and prepare newer State Energy Directors about federal energy policy and regulatory development, engagement with federal energy agencies, engagement with NASEO on federal energy issues, as well as improving the understanding of Congressional appropriations and legislative processes. The Institute includes small group meetings with appointed federal energy officials, congressional committee staff, and energy industry leaders.
