This position will provide overall coordination of personal/professional contracting activities and intergovernmental agreements to ensure that the necessary services are obtained in a manner that complies with all applicable state and federal policies, regulations and laws. The U.S. Department of Energy Solar Energy Technologies Office is accepting applications for the 2025 cohort of the Equitable Community Solar and Energy Assistance Fellowship. This fellowship will offer selected energy professionals the opportunity to collaborate with state organizations in Massachusetts, Maryland, Rhode Island, and New Mexico (NM has been piloting the tool since March 2024) on scaling the Clean Energy Connector, a tool designed to connect low-income households to affordable community solar subscriptions. Fellows will play a critical role in expanding this tool across these states – helping low-income households access clean energy and save on their energy bills.

The fellowship is administered by the Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education, and fellows will be placed at one of the following host institutions:

• Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources (Boston, MA)
• Maryland Public Service Commission (Baltimore, MD)
• New Mexico Public Regulation Commission (Santa Fe, NM)
• Rhode Island Office of Energy Resources (Providence, RI)

Performance Systems Development (PSD) is seeking an Energy Code Specialist who is proficient in national model energy codes and has a passion for educating and spreading awareness of the benefits of energy efficiency to building industry stakeholders. The Energy Code Specialist will report to the Manager of energy code services and will be responsible for developing energy code training curricula, delivering presentations, creating compliance and enforcement assistance tools, and providing technical and policy assistance to PSD’s clients, which include utilities, nonprofits, and state and federal agencies.
