NASEO facilitates state collaboration and sharing of best practices to accelerate the use of domestic resources, support innovative technology development, and improve air quality in the transportation sector. NASEO members coordinate on state-wide clean transportation programs including Electric Vehicle (EV) adoption, Electric Vehicle charging programs, low or no emissions transit, and other alternative fuels. NASEO’s transportation program conducts research and analysis on clean transportation policies, plans, and market developments to provide State Energy Offices with the necessary resources to support state’s transportation programs. NASEO also partners with leaders in the private and public sector to advance clean transportation research and development, and help states lead the effort to decarbonize the transportation sector.
