EPA Announces ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year Awards

On April 13, 2016, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency honored the 2016 ENERGY STAR Partners of the Year for Outstanding Achievements in Energy Efficiency.  The ceremony recognized 149 businesses and organizations in 35 states for excellence in energy efficiency.

Over the years, State Energy Offices have worked with their Governors to send a letter of congratulation to the state awardees. This effort has had a positive impact for all involved. The awardee receives local recognition by the Governor, the Governor honors successful industries and partners, and State Energy Offices gain by linking economic development, the environment, and energy efficiency together. All done with minimal effort.
