On August 4, the Energy Division Office of the Department of Public Works in the Northern Mariana Islands hosted the 2018 Saipan Energy Awareness Light Emitting Diode (LED). Despite heavy rains, over 350 residential customers attended the event to receive LED bulbs and learn about the energy they can save by replacing their incandescent and compact fluorescent lights through the Energy, Education, Efficiency, and Conservation Program.
