In preparation for extreme summer weather (e.g., hurricanes, wildfires, drought, etc.) with the potential to impact critical energy infrastructure and energy security, NASEO, in partnership with the U.S. Department of Energy's Office of Cybersecurity, Energy Security, and Emergency Response (US DOE CESER), invites you to attend the 2022 Severe Summer Weather Outlook Webinar on Friday, June 17, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. ET.

The webinar will feature the 2022 Hurricane, Drought, and Precipitation Outlooks from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA); and the Federal Energy Emergency Response Operations Overview from (US DOE CESER), and identify potential actions states can take pertaining to electric vehicle (EV) evacuation planning, jet fuel coordination for aerial wildfire firefighting operations, and electricity demand response and mitigation.
