DOE Seeking State Input on Federal Energy Savings Performance Contracts

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has published a Request for Information (RFI) in the Federal Register seeking comments and information regarding improvements to Energy Savings Performance Contracts (ESPCs). The DOE Federal Energy Management Program (FEMP) is the lead agency program for providing implementing rules and policies regarding ESPCs. The Federal Government recognizes the states’ leadership and expertise in this area and would appreciate state input.  Comments are due by Friday, May 3, 2013.
