Part I: Benchmarking in EPA's ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager for State Governments to Support Energy Efficiency Programs
July 19, 2012, 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 pm. ET

State and local governments across the country are choosing EPA's Portfolio Manager as the whole building benchmarking and reporting platform for public and private building energy programs. Join this session to learn how Portfolio Manager can help program managers set improvement goals, assess energy and financial performance, report savings, and recognize program achievements. Highlighted case studies will include benchmarking policies, voluntary energy efficiency water competitions, and audit/retrofit incentive programs.

Part II: Using EPA's ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager in Program Implementation
August 7, 2012, 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 pm. ET

Based on the objectives presented in Part 1, gain an advanced understanding of Portfolio Manager features and proven best practices that can facilitate program-level energy data management and reporting. Features to be highlighted include account set-up and sharing, custom data reporting, best practices for energy data analysis, and an overview of EPA's ENERGY STAR resources available to support your state's programs.

Launching an Energy Efficiency Competition with ENERGY STAR
September 18, 2012, 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 pm. ET

From Arlington to Albuquerque, New Jersey to New Mexico, over 25 state and community-wide building energy competitions have been launched leveraging ENERGY STAR resources. This session will explore how competition can inspire public and private building owners in your state to reduce their operating costs and their environmental footprint by challenging them to improve their facilities' energy efficiency. Attendees will receive guidance on how to define the competition scope, dedicate human and capital resources to the effort, measure success, communicate to both participants and the public, and recognize achievement. ENERGY STAR tools and resources that can support all aspects of your competition will be highlighted, along with successful state and local model programs.

How to Build Campaigns to Engage Industry Participation in ENERGY STAR
November 8, 2012, 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 pm. ET
This session will review ENERGY STAR resources that can enrich your state's efforts to engage the industrial sector. Attendees will learn about EPA's proven approach to industrial energy management, highlighting off-the-shelf tools and outreach materials that can help your state's manufacturers set a baseline and improvement goal, make improvements to reduce energy intensity; and verify energy savings and apply for EPA recognition.
