NASEO Affiliates’ State Energy Planning Taskforce Kick-off Call

January 6, 2015, 2:00 - 3:00 PM ET

In 2014, at least 36 states had active energy plans and 18 states initiated the process of updating or developing new plans. To further enhance this work and to leverage the significant experience of NASEO’s private sector partners, NASEO is launching an industry-driven State Energy Planning Taskforce that provides insights for states to consider when updating or renewing their statewide energy plans. The kick-off call described below will be the first in a series of Taskforce discussions designed to help NASEO develop and promote an “Industry Perspectives” addendum to NASEO’s signature resource, State Energy Planning Guidelines: A Guide to Develop a Comprehensive State Energy Plan plus Supplemental Policy and Program Options. Participants in this effort will be acknowledged as advisors and contributors in the final product released to NASEO’s State Energy Office members.

Members of NASEO's Affiliates Program are invited to participate in the Taskforce’s kick-off conference call on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at 2:00-3:00pm ET. This call will feature NASEO staff and State Energy Office directors discussing trends and experiences in statewide energy planning, and will include a facilitated discussion to identify Affiliates’ key areas of interest to be discussed in future Taskforce discussions.
