Alternative Fuel Vehicles and Energy Assurance

April 4, 2013, 1:00 - 2:00 PM ET
Webinar/Virtual Meeting

As highlighted during the recent aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, alternative and advanced fuel vehicle (AFV) technologies and infrastructure can contribute to restoration efforts when supplies of diesel and gasoline are disrupted.

NASEO and the U.S. Department of Energy’s Clean Cities Program will host a webinar on Thursday, April 4, 2013, from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 pm ET, to showcase the important role of AFVs after Hurricane Sandy.  The webinar will also explore how transportation technologies are addressed in energy assurance plans at the state and local level to prepare for future emergencies.  State energy offices and Clean Cities Coalitions are working hard to ensure that advanced vehicle technologies are part of the strategy for disaster recovery.

Moderator:
Linda Bluestein, Clean Cities Program, U.S. Department of Energy
